Masking Update
Updated February 10, 2022
Dear Siblings in Faith,
Larimer County will allow its current indoor mask mandate to expire this Saturday, February 12th. We met on Tuesday, February 8th to discuss how we will respond to this news as a congregation. Throughout the pandemic, our decisions have been guided by the best wisdom and information we can gather, deep concern to ensure the well-being and health of all who join us for worship or other events, and a desire to love our neighbors near and far, who are impacted by the choices we make. After prayerful discussion, we have decided it is best for our congregation to continue requiring masks during worship and other indoor gatherings until March 1st. After March 1st we will continue to recommend the use of masks while gathering indoors but no longer require them. We did not make any decision about when we will resume coffee fellowship time, but plan to discuss that further at our stated meeting on February 17th.
We understand this news will be met with a mixture of disappointment and relief. We will be available following worship for the next couple of weeks should you desire to visit with us about this decision. We appreciate your prayers and support as we seek to faithfully lead our congregation.
So, between now and March 1st, please come to church prepared to wear a mask while indoors. After March 1st, we will follow the county and recommend all wear masks during worship and other indoor gatherings, but we will not require it.
