Fennig family

Rev. Rich Fennig

Pastor Rich grew up in La Mesa, CA, and graduated from San Diego State College. After teaching elementary school for two years, he entered Princeton Theological Seminary to study for the ministry. He did a Campus Ministry Internship at Kent State University from 1971 - 1974, and then graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1975. Rich served as campus pastor at Northern Arizona University from 1975 - 1990. Following that, he was pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Arcata, CA, from 1990-1997. He became pastor here in October, 1997.

He and his wife, Bonnie were married in 1988, and they have one child, Patrick, who is nineteen years old. Rich enjoys reading, running, mountain biking, and plays the trumpet in the Westminster Brass, as well as the Foothills Pops Band.

Bonnie is originally from Virginia. She is a graduate of NAU in Flagstaff. She is currently the librarian at Timnath Elementary school. Patrick is a graduate of Rocky Mountain High School, and plays the violin and guitar. He is a sophomore at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley studying music.

Barb Johnson

Barb Johnson, Choral Director & Organist

Barb joined the staff at Westminster in 2004, and we are very fortunate to have her with us. Barb lived in Lincoln, Nebraska for 27 years before moving to Colorado. She has three children: Jeff, Stacy, and Leesa. She received her undergraduate degree in music education from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Masters of Vocal Performance from University of Nebraska/Lincoln. She has been teaching in elementary through high school since 1967 and was also in professional opera for 6 years. Barb also teaches private vocal and piano lessons and currently is the director of Fort Collins Womens Chorus.
Cindy Sockler

Cindy Sockler, Church Secretary

Cindy Sockler joined the Westminster staff as the Office Manager and Financial Secretary in 1993. Cindy and her husband, Troy, have two children: Emily and Callie. They are originally from Iowa and have lived in Fort Collins for 20 years.
