Memorial Garden

Memorial Garden (coming soon)

Through the years the Christian Church has provided care and guidance concerning burial of its members. Burial in a church or churchyard has provided for interment on sacred ground, with a visible and continuous reminder of the Church's important place in members' lives and their deaths. The Westminster Presbyterian Memorial Garden will be designed to be a quiet, simple place for the interment of the ashes of a loved one. The garden will be maintained in dignified beauty as a place of remembrance, peace and contemplation.

Ashes may be interred in approved containers placed in underground niches. Each niche of the Westminster Presbyterian Memorial Garden may hold the cremated remains of one to two persons. Ashes may also be scattered in undisclosed locations over the ground. A Remembrance Plaque for each person interred will be placed on the west brick wall of the Garden and inscribed with name and dates of birth and death.

Information packets are available in the church office. The Pastor and/or a member of the Memorial Garden Team will be glad to meet with individuals or family members interested in the Westminster Memorial Garden.
